Help Russian orphans get education & socialize

Dear Friends!

During 2018-2019 academic year Big Change help 71 young guys in different ways: some students study at classes, some attend extra-curricular classes, and some receive support in difficult life circumstances. Big Change provided 6064 lessons on school subjects, 8 musical lounges, 17 events of Theatre club, 14 trips and excursions, 4 biological events, 45 communication events, 17 events of English club, 3 events of Economic club, 14 events of Healthy life club and 2 students conferences. Besides that all participants received support and help from Big Change mentors in daily life questions.

In 2018-2019 academic year we have been supporting 71 students:

-9 young people still living in the orphanages, but close to emancipation (14-18 y.o.)
-36 orphanage graduates (typically 18-25 y.o.)
-20 adopted or "foster care" school age children (7 to 18 y.o.)
-6 young people living in mental homes because of their health disables

We can’t do it without you! We have a lot of plans on 2019-2020 academic year. Now we hold the enrollment to our future programs.

In June, we held a conference for our students "A person outside and inside"

What to do if there is a conflict with someone from the other guys? Of course, explore ways to resolve conflicts and talk about it at our conference. Thanks to Natasha and Sasha, it was interesting and useful!

There was also a story about female rap (and hot discussion!), About Astrid Lindgren (it turned out to be very exciting - many of our students mentioned this report in reviews), about trip to Zaraysk, about ambulance and about the ship - the result of two years of work in the workshop !

And our teachers shared their discoveries in planning time and told about different tools of our workshop. This time, the students were very active organizers of the conference: they were the presenters, they held a contest of questions, were responsible for photo and video shooting.
