Across Kenya, thousands of youth from underserved communities are being left behind by the digital revolution. Limited access to quality tech education and employability pathways locks many out of opportunity and fuels cycles of poverty. For 25 years, NairoBits Trust has bridged this gap through digital skills and mentorship, but now urgently needs support to sustain and scale its impact, upgrade classrooms, and equip more youth for the digital future.
The Beyond25! project will bridge the digital divide by upgrading NairoBits classrooms, providing computers and connectivity, and delivering hands-on digital skills training through the InnTech program. It will strengthen mentorship and job linkages, sustain core operations, and empower more underserved youth to secure income, launch digital careers, and lead change in an inclusive digital economy.
In the long term, Beyond25! will create a ripple effect of digital inclusion and economic empowerment. Equipped with market-ready skills, graduates will secure meaningful jobs, start tech-driven enterprises, and mentor others. Communities will benefit from increased incomes, innovation, and social leadership, breaking cycles of poverty. Ultimately, NairoBits will nurture a generation of confident, connected youth driving Kenya's growth in the digital age.
