NairoBits Trust is a Nairobi-based organisation that has spent over 27 years training youth from underserved communities with digital skills, connecting them to employment and entrepreneurship opportunities. Beyond25! is a fundraising project aiming to raise USD 150,000 to sustain and grow that work through our flagship Innovation and Techonolgy program, classroom upgrades, and alumni re-engagement.
This quarter, training continued at our Kariobangi centre, where students worked through branding, graphic design, and digital marketing while also working on their portfolios. Donations this quarter have been lower than expected, but we have continued to run the program and kept our classes running.
We are not at our goal yet, but we are still pushing on with training because we understand what it means for these young people. Every cohort that comes through our doors is a reminder of why we started and why we keep going. Thank you for being part of this.
