The Bergnek clinic is an integral part of the vision Keabestwe Mosumane has for his home community, Bergnek. When we started this journey, alongside Keabetswe (Keith), we knew we were being bold setting the stage for what Keith wanted to accomplish, but we also know that with commitment and the doing things one step at a time, we could accomplish the things as a team.
That team consists of the people of the community of Bergnek and all of us that believe in what they can truly accomplish. There have been bumps in the road, and sometimes even big roadblock’s set in our path, The community has simply looked to see how they work over or around those, and just kept on going, In 2017 the team was able to acquire first the drawings and rendering we needed for what the clinic would look like and the services it would provide. After that we set our mind to the land it would sit on and with the support of so many supporters, just like you, we were able to acquire the land.
We have now reached out to potential partners in each of the areas we need help with, which includes solar generation and power storage, building, water management and conservation, medical services and support, contractors, government agencies and many more. 2018 is going to be an exciting year for Bergnek and each member of the team on the ground, is so grateful for the support you have provided through your donations and spreading the word about the Bergnek Health Clinic Project.
Please take the time to forward this message to the people you know in your life circle and help the women and children of Bergnek to reach their goal and to have the health services they deserve and desperately need.
Wishing you a wonderful New Year in 2018!!
With Gratitude,
Warren Te Brugge
