Queremos aprovechar la oportunidad para compartir con ustedes una buena noticia en este primer reporte:
Nuestro programa Beisboleritos: Mi Vida es un Diamante, con mucho esfuerzo del equipo de GIP, amigos, familiares, voluntarios, y todos los que nos apoyaron en la campaña para prevenir el reclutamiento de niños, niñas y adolescentes a grupos armados fue un éxito.
La campaña "Anota un Home Run por la Paz", tenía como uno de sus objetivos convertirse en miembro permanente de la plataforma de recaudación GlobalGiving, y para ello debíamos recolectar $5,000 USD de más de 40 donantes. GlobalGiving reconoció nuestro esfuerzo, y aunque no logramos la meta, recaudamos $2,208 USD y conseguimos el número de los donantes, y por ello nos aceptó como miembros permanentes en su plataforma.
Queremos agradecer este esfuerzo a cada uno de ustedes, nuestros amigos, familiares, voluntarios, en fin, todos los que creen en GIP y Beisboleritos; cada uno de ustedes ha permitido que nuestros participantes sigan anotando carreras en sus vidas. #HomeRunporlaPaz #HomeRunforPeace

We want to share with you all the good news in this report:
Our Beisboleritos program: My Life is a diamond, with much effort from the GIP team, friends, family, and volunteers, and all who supported us in the campaign to prevent the recruitment of children and adolescents from being recruited by armed groups.
The campaign "Hit a Home Run for Peace" had many goals, and one of those was to become permanent members in the GlobalGiving fundraising platform, and for that we had to collect $ 5,000 from more than 40 donors. GlobalGiving recognized our effort, for finding the donors even though we have collected $ 2208 so far, and therefore we were accepted as permanent members on its platform.
We want to acknowledge this effort to each of you, our friends, family, volunteers, in short, all those who believe in GIP and Beisboleritos, each of you has allowed our participants to continue scoring runs in their lives. #HomeRunporlaPaz #HomeRunforPeace
