Dear Supporter,
As we await additional funding, we’ve been actively preparing for the next phase of our garden and apiary project. Our team is mapping out the layout of each garden and selecting plants with purpose—those that grow quickly to offer children visible progress, those that are edible and nutritious, those that bloom beautifully, and those that attract our beloved Beecheii bees for pollination. We’re also choosing a variety of plants that blossom at different points in the school year and offer a range of mature sizes for educational diversity.
Thanks to insights from our beekeepers and local farmers, we’ve gathered invaluable suggestions that will guide our selections. We'll share highlights from our research in future updates so you can follow along with the journey.
We’re also making plans for the equipment purchases needed to launch and maintain the gardens and hives effectively.
Your ideas are always welcome—feel free to reach out to us at beefriendly@soulgives.org.
