In Good Hands - Meet Our Delivery Team

By Robin Healy | Development Coordinator

Our Delivery Team Steven and Joe
Our Delivery Team Steven and Joe

Who turns empty rooms into comfy homes? These guys! Meet our Delivery Team staff members: Steven Littleton (left) and Joe Smoot (right).

Both men are Portland natives, dads, and coach football in their spare time. They’ve worked at Community Warehouse for over a year, showing up to clients' doorsteps with warm smiles and a truck full of furniture day in and day out.

Steven says the best moment on the job is "being at someone’s house when the kids get home from school. They’re so excited to see the stuff they picked out – like beds - in their place."

In addition to providing excellent customer service, Joe and Steven receive training (along with all our staff) in Trauma-Informed Care, racial equity, and domestic violence awareness. Community Warehouse is proud to have Steven and Joe representing us in the community – we’re all in good hands!

Steven and Joe are 2 of our 30 staff members who bought the comforts of home to 3,457 children in 2018 - almost half of the 7,662 clients that were served. Your support made this possible!
