This time tomorrow 25 of the young people we support will be arriving for our annual Residential Activity Stay, during the stay the young people have the opportuntiy to take part in a variety of activities, from tie-dying to a sports day. On the final day the young people take part in an Apprentice Challenge, during which teams are mentored by our some of our trustees and supporters to come up with fundraising ideaa, which they will put into practice over the next few months.
On the final evening the young people attend a formal dinner, where they get the chance to meet some of our trustees and supporters. Before the dinner, we give the young people the opportunity to take part in a beauty workshop, where they can learn about which products are good for their skin types and be shown techniques to maximise the areas they want to emphasis.
The young people leave the session feeling pampered and confident, looking forward to their night of celebration with new found friends.
