Vision boarding and yoga to build self-love

By Lesley Lowden-Smith | Trust Income Manager

Self-care isn’t a luxury for young people living with and beyond cancer -it’s a necessity. Treatment can leave lasting emotional, physical, and psychological effects, including fatigue, anxiety, sensory overload, and changes in appearance. Many young people tell us they struggle to recognise themselves or know how to care for their wellbeing during and after treatment.

Thanks to your support, we delivered a series of self-care - focused digital sessions, giving young people practical tools and time carved out just for themselves.

Self-Love & Confidence Session

Ten young people joined this interactive session, exploring techniques to build self-esteem, recognise their strengths, and nurture a positive mindset.

Vision Boarding Workshop

Ten young people participated, using creative exercises to envision their hopes, goals, and future aspirations. The session encouraged reflection, goal-setting, and empowerment.

Yoga Session

Twenty young people joined this online session, focusing on gentle movement, breathwork, and relaxation techniques. The session helped participants reconnect with their bodies and find moments of calm during a challenging period.

Your support has enabled young people to learn new wellbeing tools, rebuild confidence, and take time to nurture themselves.

How you can help

With your support, we can reach even more young people with essential self-care opportunities. Every donation helps us deliver safe, supportive digital events where participants can reconnect with themselves, reduce stress, and feel empowered to face the challenges ahead. Your generosity ensures that no young person has to face cancer without the chance to care for their wellbeing and find moments of peace, comfort, and joy.
