Beat Making Lab has finished our first season with PBS, releasing 39 episodes from several countries including Panama, Fiji, Kenya and USA (North Carolina).
We have won several awards including an Emmy for our Fiji Episode.
We have been planning on how to grow our international program, and make adjustments and changes moving forward. Our next Beat Making Lab is planned to be in India, and will make this lab as a pilot for TV instead of our normal shorter web episodes. We are courting some well known names in India and the world to collaborate on this new lab, with the stories we tell and the work we do more compelling and more in depth.
We are also speaking with some great corporate sponsors about donating eqiupment and PR resources to get the awareness of our program to a greater audience, and to ultimately create positive change in the communities we collaborate with through music and video.
Thank you for your support, and apologies for not having a report sooner. Feel free to email us with any questions. BeatMakingLab@gmail.com
