The 2026 camp season is well underway at Bátor Tábor Foundation. Since our last update, we have successfully completed two camp sessions—our spring session and the first summer session—and we are currently welcoming children and families to our third camp of the year.
Together, the first two sessions brought more than 150 participants to our camp, where children living with serious or chronic illnesses had the opportunity to experience joy, friendship, and adventure in a safe and supportive environment. Through therapeutic recreation, they challenged themselves, built confidence, and created memories that will stay with them long after camp ends.
Our team of dedicated volunteers and staff are now fully immersed in the third session, filling each day with activities designed to help campers discover courage, strengthen connections, and simply enjoy being children. Every smile, new friendship, and personal achievement reminds us why this work matters.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Your support helps make these life-changing experiences possible for children and families who need them most. We look forward to sharing more stories and results from our summer camp season in our next update.
