About the Project

Baskets for Christmas Love is a project aimed at bringing a smile to poor families in Busoga region through sharing of love during the Christmas season. Through your donation, East Enders is able to buy a Christmas food hamper and deliver it to the most indeed family or home in rural Busoga.

The activity--- $127

We received the first disbursement of $127 dollars, and we were able to deliver ten charismas hampers to 10 (ten) poor homes.

Among ten were:
1. Six widowed old village women living with their teenage grandchildren
2. Three single mothers living with HIV/Aids
3. One unemployed youth
The hampers included:
1. One Kilogram of beef
2. Two Kilograms of Rice
3. Half litre of cooking oil
4. One kilogram of sugar
5. One loaf of bread
6. Tea leaves
7. A tin of cooking salt
8. Half a bar of general washing soap
Conclusion

We thank everyone who has donated to the effort so far. The project seeks to continue bringing a smile to different homes, one hamper at a time, all through the year
