For the past two years, the BARKA Foundation has successfully implemented an edible forest initiative and a community gardening project on its land in Fada N’Gourma. These efforts actively engage both women and men at the grassroots level, fostering sustainable food production, environmental stewardship, and community empowerment.
As the rainy season begins, preparations are underway to plant additional trees, further strengthening the project and ensuring its long-term impact. These initiatives not only enhance local resilience but also contribute to improved livelihoods and ecological restoration in the region.
We recognize that such progress would not be possible without the continuous support of our partners and donors. Your commitment remains vital to completing this project and sustaining its benefits for the community.
The BARKA Foundation extends its heartfelt gratitude to all supporters who continue to believe in the power of solidarity. Your commitment affirms that by helping one another, we can achieve transformative change and create lasting impact in our communities.
