As you know, BARKA has been developing a water access project to address the needs of 20,000 internally displaced persons in the Eastern Region. The Marblehead Rotary Club and Sedro-Woolley Rotary Club are co-leading the fundraising effort. Our Rotary leads recently sent our project proposal to WASRAG, Rotary's Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Action Group. WASRAG provided helpful comments and feedback, which we have now integrated. Our next step is to begin collecting funding from local Rotary clubs. We hope to have this project funded by the end of this year.
If you are a Rotarian or have contacts with a Rotary club in your local area, please let us know as we would love to work together to finance this project. Thank you!
