Hurricane Dorian was the most powerful hurricane in recorded history to strike the Bahamas directly with wind gusts of 200+ mph. This terrible storm destroyed much of Abaco and Grand Bahama in the northwestern region of the Bahamas.
On September 13th, our team set on a mission to deliver hurricane relief supplies to the residents on the island of Grand Bahama. With your support as well as numerous companies and organizations lending a hand, we were able to deliver much needed relief supplies to over 2,000 individuals in Grand Bahama. In addition, we have sent another 40 foot shipping container over to Nassau, Bahamas to be distributed to evacuees of Hurricane Dorian.
We are truly inspired by the outpouring of generosity and we will be working tirelessly to further assist in this relief effort moving forward in these islands as well as with the thousands of evacuees currently in the capital city of Nassau. There is a long road ahead of us, but with your help WE CAN make a substantial impact in the lives of thousands of Bahamians who have lost so much in the wake of this catastrophe.
