The Earthquake: Last month a 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck Herat province followed by repeated aftershakes. In response we have taken the following actions to assist the victims:

• Accommodating some of the families affected by the earthquake to sleep in our center which is very safe and earthquake-resistant
• Making performances, workshops social games, and soft entertainment activities for the children who have moved with their families to the open-air areas to be safe from partially damaged houses and from all the aftershocks: These activities are essential in reducing the children's traumas. Expanding our Social Circus Network: Now we have 32 teams in 13 provinces across Afghanistan. Among these teams, we are proud to have nine led by female team leaders, showcasing the invaluable contributions of women in this domain especially for girls. www.mmccglobal.org/acn

Festival and championships: We celebrated the incredible talents of our jugglers at the 2023 National Juggling Championships. Now more than ever the children and youth need to have fun. Here is a short video clip of the championship: www.instagram.com/p/Cy3w5j0PJNH
