It’s school reopening time! On this time of the year, the first thing that comes to a child’s mind is nothing other than new stationaries, neat and tidy uniforms, colourful pouches, the smell of new notebooks and much more.
However, there are young minds in our community, who are unpriviledged. All they have is a bunch of colourful dreams to go back to school like every other kid.
Don Bosco Trivandrum was able to support 35 underprivilaged children by providing educational kits that contains notebooks, bag, pouch, stationaries, umbrella and nutritional kits that contains a sanitizer, mask and nutrition supplements. All the kids were happy and excited.
The need to support these underpriviledged children stems from the belief that education is the vehicle to help poor families out of poverty. Properly utilising these opportunities would enable them to gain employment and bring financial help to their families.
