Don Bosco Veedu society has been working for the children who are at risk since 1991. The organisation has been rescuing the children who are found to be vulnerable in streets and other life situations with risk factors such as child labour, poverty, malnourishment etc. These children were rescued from such situations and were given shelter at the temporary homes of Don Bosco Veedu Society.
Most of these children lack education since they have not been provided with an opportunity for schooling. We facilitate these children with better opportunity for getting educated. During the current year we were able to admit around 40 children to school. They are provided with new clothes and new notebooks for them to begin their saga for getting educated. As the process of imparting them a feeling of thirst to get educated the organisation has organised a function which was titled as “Praveshanolsavam – 2021” (praveshanam - entry, ulsavam – Fest) and the education materials were gifted to the children during the function.
The mass provision of notebooks were only made possible only by the kind donation of GlobalGiving donors due to which the children were benefited by the education supplies and are ready
