Dear donors,
We are excited to share wonderful news from Mexico: the 2026–2027 school year officially began on August 31st, and thanks to your generous support, five students are starting it with their scholarships in hand — Christopher, Karla, Tania, Emma, and Germán.
All five are highly motivated to be back in the classroom, knowing that someone thinks about them and support their studies. This year, they will also begin taking part in our Ahorra y Emprende (Entrepreneurship and Savings) financial education and entrepreneurship program, where they will learn to save, plan, and turn their ideas into small ventures.
We also want to look back and celebrate how the previous school year came to a close. In the 2025–2026 school year, Christopher, Karla, and Tania proudly represented their school at the EDUCA 2026 Fair, where they presented the small business projects they had developed throughout the year. It was a moment of pride for them and for our entire team, and a wonderful example of the confidence and skills that financial education and entrepreneurship training can build in young people.
Along with this report, we are sharing five letters and photographs from the students themselves. Christopher, Karla, and Tania wrote to tell you how they closed out their school year and what the EDUCA 2026 Fair meant to them. Emma and Germán, who have just recently joined the sponsorship program, wrote to introduce themselves to you for the first time.
