Baby Buggy's Founder, Jessica Seinfeld, wrote a piece in the Huffington Post on Baby Buggy's support for Hurricane Sandy's littles survivors. It is an insightful article on the devastation in the Rockaways following the hurricane and how Baby Buggy has been providing critical donations and support since just a few days following the hurricane! So far, we have distributed over 60,000 items to families affected by the hurricane in the Rockaways, Staten Island, Coney Island and New Jersey; these donations have included formula, baby food, diapers and wipes, winter clothing and gear, safe sleeping spaces, heaters, flashlights, bottled water, pediasure, as well as many other critical items.
We know that our client families will continue to struggle as it will take months and months before life gets back to normal for them. Baby Buggy will continue to support these families as they are on this journey, many thanks to your generous support.
