Project Report | Oct 15, 2021
Join global leaders on Oct. 15 and Nov. 18....

By Abby Robinson | Chief Strategy Officer | Alumna Class 2 (USA)

Hello!

We are Atlas Corps! You are appreciated.

Atlas Corps continues to grow even amidst these uncertain times. Today, we are a thriving global community of 1,100 professionals from 110 countries! In the past 12 months, we have engaged more Fellows, brought Fellows to the United States, and launched our Virtual Leadership Institute! We are especially inspired by our collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Madagascar. In 2021, we engaged our first participants from Madagascar and they have inspired our community!

Ando (Cohort 3, Madagascar, Virtual Scholar) shared this reflection, "In 2019, I founded the African Leaders for Africa (ALFA) Madagascar....The first activity of ALFA Madagascar was in December 2019 where we held a tree planting of 1,200 trees, Atlas Corps positively contributed to my professional and personal accomplishments as it gave me the tools and methods to structure ALFA. Atlas Corps is an amazing program, applicants and Scholars should enjoy the most of this opportunity. Doing all of the assignments are key for personal and professional growth."

Now, we invite you to celebrate with our global community of Atlas Corps Leaders. We have two great upcoming events:

Atlas Corps Fall Celebration - Friday, October 15, 11:45 AM ET

We will recognize our Fellows and virtual Scholars, including the Malagasy Scholars, who are completing their leadership programs and will transition to our Alumni Community.

Atlas Corps 15th Anniversary Virtual Celebration - Thursday, November 18, 12:00 PM ET (virtual event to be posted)

Join us as our 15th Anniversary celebration continues! This event will feature special remarks by UN Secretary-General’s Envoy on Youth, Jayathma Wickramanayake.

Thank you for believing in our community of global professionals! Thank you for inspiring social change, one global leader at a time.

Cheers-

Abby

PS Also, I invite you to get to know our new CEO Bidjan Nashat in his first newsletter. We are thrilled to add his leadership talents to our community!
