Atlas Corps Fellows, Alumni and Scholars create a multiplier effect for social change in their home regions, and the Middle East and Africa remain important regions- representing 45% of our global network of Atlas Corps Leaders.
When you support Atlas Corps, you empower Atlas Corps Leaders like Alumna Patience (Class 33, Nigeria, Host: Teen Empowerment). Patience is engaged in the COAL Literary School Club project that improves literacy and numeracy skills of children and young adults in public schools in low-income communities of middle-belt Nigeria. She engages her team of 20 volunteers by organizing weekly reading and writing sessions with 300 children and young adults at two public schools.
