By Lucia Santana | Project Leader
Over the past month, although we have not received additional donations, we have remained actively working both within the community and at the SAI (Comprehensive Care Service). Our team continues carrying out patient rescue efforts for individuals who have abandoned treatment, delivering medications at the community level, and providing food rations to vulnerable patients and their families. Thanks to these efforts, many patients have remained engaged in treatment and continue taking their antiretroviral medications consistently.
In addition, we have continued reinforcing the importance of attending medical appointments and follow-up checkups at the SAI, while also providing guidance and emotional support focused on improving adherence and overall well-being. Despite the challenges, we remain committed to ensuring that vulnerable patients continue receiving the care and support they need to stay connected to treatment and health services.
