Marhaba from INSAN,
In the past few months, Insan lawyers continued to provide legal assistance to vulnerable individuals living in Lebanon; where it provided legal counseling, court representations, marriage and birth registrations. Through this action, Insan was able to reach out to 282 marginalized Lebanese, Syrian refugees, and migrant workers as well.
Moreover, given the current turbulent economic situation in Lebanon, Insan focused on interventions that are needs-based and holistic in nature such as case management. Under this activity, Insan conducted home visits and followed the cases individually through a team of social workers and psychologists to determine the most urgent needs, and provided food and hygiene supplies on a case-by-case basis to families most in need. Through this action, Insan was able to reach out to 157 marginalized Lebanese, Syrian refugees, and migrant workers as well.
Thank you for supporting us and making vulnerable communities in Lebanon more empowered through access to legal services and holistic case management provision.
Best regards,
The INSAN team
