Our best moments from August to November included: In September, we celebrated Golden September, a month dedicated to raising awareness about childhood cancer, and carried out various activities in the city's main parks. In October, we celebrated Children's Day, and our patients and their families had the opportunity to enjoy a day full of fun, treats, and joy at a party venue. In November, we held the 31st edition of the Race for Life, engaging more than 10.000 people on a beautiful day in support of the cause, and our patients also participated in the traditional walk. To conclude the quarter, we took our patients and their families on a visit to the city's Botanical Garden, where they learned about various species of plants, flowers, and endangered animals, and enjoyed a delicious picnic.
Throughout this quarter, our indicators show that we provided more than 12,000 services to 400 children and adolescents with cancer, donated 5,615 pieces of clothing, distributed 8,058 food items, and prepared more than 3,100 meals for patients.
We are very happy to share these moments, and we look forward to beginning the next activities with our patients!
