Access and Inclusion on Climate Change.
It's been months of dedicated care for our demo plot, and we're thrilled to announce that the vegetables are ready for harvest!
Our joy multiplies seeing children with special needs undergo comprehensive training in climate change resilience, focusing on the best organic agriculture practices. These step-by-step procedures pave the way for continued practice, aligning with the school's commitment to environmental protection programs. Special thanks to the school administration and our partner, Agridiversity Tanzania, for their unwavering cooperation in making this project possible.
Let's celebrate inclusion, empowerment, and progress! We're fostering hope and improvement in health education, awareness, and climate action.
The Wheelchair and Outreach Therapy Project.
Over the preceding months, a comprehensive assessment was conducted, identifying fifteen children with diverse disabilities. Measurements for their assistive devices were meticulously taken during this period. The entire process unfolded at our workshop, and as the month concludes, all crafted devices are slated for distribution. This distribution marks a pivotal moment when children will attain a newfound level of independence.
Moreover, our commitment extends beyond device provision. To ensure holistic support, training sessions on therapy interventions and proper care for the assistive devices will be facilitated by our dedicated physiotherapists and occupational therapists. These sessions aim to empower and educate family members, fostering a conducive environment for the optimal use and maintenance of the provided assistive devices.
