Dear Donors,
Thank you for your support of the Assist 150 Flood-Hit Families in Mokwa, Niger State project. Your generosity has shown families affected by this disaster that they have not been forgotten.
More than a year after the devastating floods that struck Mokwa, many affected families are still dealing with the consequences. Homes were destroyed, livelihoods were lost, and numerous families were displaced. For many survivors, recovery remains a daily struggle as they attempt to rebuild their lives with limited resources.
Although donations have been received, the funds available at this time are still not enough to begin the first phase of the project. Additional support is required before relief materials can be procured and distributed to the targeted families.
Our planned intervention will provide food items, shelter materials, hygiene supplies, and basic medical assistance to 150 affected households. The project also includes activities aimed at helping communities better prepare for future flooding events, reducing the risks faced by vulnerable families.
The scale of the disaster left needs far greater than the resources currently available. Many households continue to face difficult living conditions while waiting for assistance that can help them regain stability and dignity.
We are grateful to everyone who has contributed so far. Your support keeps this project alive and moves us closer to reaching families whose lives were changed by the floods.
As more resources become available, we hope to begin implementation and share photographs, beneficiary stories, and field updates in future reports.
Thank you for standing with the people of Mokwa during their recovery journey.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
