In Afghanistan alone, the UN estimates that over 20 million people will need winter assistance in 2025. For families in Aseel's core regions: Winter means choosing between food, heat, and shelter. Children are disproportionately affected by the cold and malnutrition.
Aseel's Winter 2025 Campaign directly addresses this dual crisis: Through Do Good, families receive life-saving aid with full transparency via Omid ID verification. Through the Atalan Heroes network, Aseel ensures local ownership, job creation, and efficient last-mile distribution.
By combining humanitarian aid with digital inclusion, Aseel's model helps families move from dependency to sustainability. Families who receive winter assistance through Do Good are also onboarded to Aseel's digital ecosystem (via Omid IDs). These same systems enable long-term access to other support services - financial aid, training, and digital identity.
