Aseel Winter 2025 Campaign

During the winter of 2025, many communities across Afghanistan experienced increasing humanitarian difficulties due to severe cold weather, rising food insecurity, and limited access to essential resources. To respond to these urgent needs, Aseel launched its Winter 2025 Campaign to provide timely assistance to vulnerable families and individuals in affected areas.

Through this campaign, Aseel supported more than 150 people and families facing difficult winter conditions. The initiative focused on reaching those most in need, including orphaned children, widowed women, elderly-led households, and families with limited income.

The support provided included:

• Food assistance packages with essential supplies such as flour, rice, cooking oil, and other daily necessities.

• Clothing support for vulnerable individuals, including street children and families affected by harsh winter conditions.

• Winter heating assistance, including coal, firewood, and other fuel materials to help families cope with extreme cold.

All aid distribution was carried out through Aseel’s transparent and accountable delivery process. Using Omid ID verification, Aseel ensured that assistance reached verified beneficiaries, while the Atalan network supported effective coordination, local engagement, and last-mile delivery.

In addition to providing immediate winter relief, the campaign supported Aseel’s broader mission of strengthening communities through digital inclusion. Beneficiaries were introduced to Aseel’s ecosystem, allowing them to access future opportunities, services, and support mechanisms designed to promote long-term resilience.
