Aseel Winter 2025 Campaign _ Impact Report
![]()
During the winter of 2025, Afghanistan faced severe humanitarian challenges, with millions of people struggling due to extreme cold, food insecurity, and lack of access to basic necessities. In response to this urgent need, Aseel implemented its Winter 2025 Campaign to support vulnerable communities across its core regions.
Through this initiative, Aseel successfully provided assistance to more than 150 individuals and families affected by harsh winter conditions. The support was carefully designed to address both immediate survival needs and the well-being of the most vulnerable groups, including orphans, widowed women, elderly-headed households, and low-income families.
The distributed assistance included:
- Food packages containing essential items such as flour, rice, cooking oil, and other basic food supplies
- Clothing packages for street children and vulnerable individuals
- Winter fuel support, including coal, firewood, and other heating materials to help families stay warm during extreme cold
All distributions were conducted through Aseel’s transparent and accountable system, utilizing Omid ID verification to ensure that aid reached the right beneficiaries. Additionally, the Atalan network played a key role in the implementation process, enabling efficient last-mile delivery and strong community engagement.
Beyond immediate relief, this initiative contributed to Aseel’s long-term vision of empowering communities through digital inclusion. Beneficiaries were connected to Aseel’s ecosystem, creating pathways for future support, including access to financial aid, services, and opportunities for sustainable growth.
Aseel remains committed to supporting vulnerable communities and building resilience, ensuring that families not only survive the winter but also move toward a more stable and secure future.
