Our Compton Masterclass Series launched this past October with extraordinary momentum, thanks to a very special guest: City Hearts alumna Honey Robinson.
Honey attended Foster Elementary (Compton, California) from 2009–2015 and participated in City Hearts programs from 2013–2015. Since then, she has remained one of our most dedicated ambassadors.
Now preparing to graduate from USC next spring with a degree in Acting/Theatre, Honey is already carving out an impressive path: balancing a growing acting career with a flourishing social media career that includes major brand partnerships.
For this dynamic intiative, Honey led a dynamic two-hour Masterclass on branding and storytelling, guiding a small cohort of girls through hands-on creative exercises as they developed their own original mini-projects. The session concluded with an inspiring Q&A about her journey from her years as a City Hearts student to her emerging career in the arts.
