Good Afternoon Elephant Art Supporters!
A few updates for our fall report:
-The Elephant Art team launched at Tembe Elephant Park in South Africa, with soccer for the children, and traditional dancers for all. The winners were awarded with a safari into the Park to view elephants, a real treat for the children!
-The team was also invited to participate in the elephant census by counting elephants at Elephant Sands in central Botswana! We will introduce Elephant Art to Nata Village en route to the census.
-The team was recently in northerrn Kenya and brought Elephant art to the Samburu community.
-A new member joined our team from Tanzania, and will bring Elephant Art to the Selous region, where elephant poaching is rampant, and awareness campaigns will help to strengthen the resolve for communities to protect their natural resources.
We continue to help raise awareness and the spirits of communities living at the interface with elephants. Thank you for your valuable support!
