To our below friends,

For many years of your support to our Arn Chorn-Pond Scholarship Program, you have been one of the most dependable donor to help our Young Cambodian Artists!

Scholarships are open to arts students and young artists who show their talent and motivation to increase their expertise - with priority given to applicants from disadvantages backgrounds.

HOW CAN YOU NOT BE EXCITED ABOUT OUR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM?

In September 2017, we awarded the Arn Chorn-Pond Living Arts Scholarship to 10 talented students, coming from six different provinces of Cambodia. They were selected based on their talent, dedication, and commitment to the program and applied to study a range of skills that will contribute to their careers, including English language, computer skills or their art form of choice.

To develop capacity in addition to their core skills, scholarship students also take part in enrichment Program:

- Personal Development and Leadership Capacity: Students learn about themselves and their values and able to set and work towards goals for themselves.

Knowledge about Arts Sector and Increase Networks: Students know about the different organisations working in the arts, from different discipline and opportunities for collaboration with new people or organisations.

- Citizenship and Social Duty:  Students understand and explain how their work as an artist relates to building a positive Cambodia and a sense of responsibility to contribute to positive development of their society.

- Project Management: Students become a leader that can initiate and lead the project in a team and they will also experience about the financial and budget management.

GOOD NEWS!

Kicking off the new year scholarship launch, our 13 students successfully graduated. It was so excited that our program helps the students to develop skills in leadership, financial management and the career planning. It is a remarkable archeivement to have all the scholarship students to acheive their goals and briliant future!

They told us:

“One of my successes is that I have developed myself, my speaking, and my confidence. I found that I have become braver” - EL Huyno.

“During my three years as an Arn Chorn-Pond Scholarship Student, I’ve developed myself and my team work. I am much more confident in myself than I was before”, - MEAS Samnang.

WHAT IS NEW.........?
