Lettuce Ready to be Harvested
Thanks to the generosity of numerous volunteers and donors we have now surpassed our milestone of 20,000 meals provided to local soup kitchens in Palm Beach County! We have also had the privilege of hosting school field trips at our aquaponics center where the students received an overview of how an aquaponics farm operates and received hands-on experience with testing water quality, discussing water physics, learning fish/plant anatomy, and discussing the nitrification cycle. Thank you to everyone who has been involved with this amazing initiative as we continue to help fight food insecurity in our area as well as educate the next generation on the importance of sustainable agriculture.

New Vegetables (Swiss Chard) Growing in the Farm
Thanks to many generous supporters and tenacious volunteers, we have now provided over 10,000 meals to those in need through our Aquaponics Food Security & Education Program. We are proud of the impact we have been able to make over a short period of time, and we wanted to share some statistics with you today. Behind each one of these numbers is a person, a family, and a community that was supported by this effort:
- Over 10,000 meals provided
- Over 3,500 heads of lettuce grown
- Over 150 students educated
- Over 100 volunteers involved
We could not do this work without our incredible donors and volunteers who have helped us to build and support this program. However, the job is not over. Food insecurity is still a pressing issue and the demand for locally grown produce continues to rise. Please join us in providing high-quality, fresh food to those in need.

Our aquaponics initiative is in full swing as we begin to deliver over 150 heads of lettuce every week to area soup kitchens in South Florida. Thank you to all of our supporters and volunteers who have assisted thus far with this innovative program. We recently donated our first harvest of microgreens to the Boca Helping Hands Soup Kitchen in Boca Raton, FL as well as educated over 40 students about sustainable agriculture utilizing hands-on STEM education tools.
The students were able to experience first-hand how to test water quality, the science behind the nitrogen cycle, and the environmental benefits of sustainable agriculture versus conventional agriculture. Join us as we continue to expand this amazing program, and if you are in South Florida, we encourage you to stop by the facility to see the amazing work our team is doing.
