Introduction
This progress report is intended to summarize the achievements of the project during the period September-December 2021.
We continue to miss the events of many people held in the time prior to the special conditions generated by the Covid-19 Pandemic, but we are sure that, despite the circumstances, there is always a creative and safe way to continue with this mission. to bring resources to those who need it most.
Complying with all established security protocols, we have developed activities for the collection and delivery of material goods and food.
Below, we present a summary of the progress made in each of the initiatives proposed for this particular project.
1.1. Food delivery.
45 families were impacted with our participatory donation program. This thanks to the contributions of more than 40 donors in kind and the cash resources received through GlobalGiving. Especially those received from the Airbandb company that made a solidarity contribution to our cause.
1.2. Prevention of COVID-19
In compliance with our support and awareness program to reduce the spread of COVID-19, we have held 6 of the 8 community events that we had scheduled for the rest of the year.
In these events, donations of hygiene and covid-19 prevention items are made, as well as basic food for the home.
In addition, an instructive talk is held for the purposes of:
• Raise awareness in the community about the dangers of COVID-19.
• Instruct the population on the established security protocol.
• Offer psychological support for people suffering from the after effects of the quarantine period.
