The Anti-Abuse Program for 400 Children in Sokoto is currently at the fundraising stage, with a total project goal of $15,118 and the full $15,118 still remaining to be raised. The project has received one donation so far and has no monthly donors, meaning that implementation activities have not yet been fully funded. The eight-month project is designed to provide practical child protection support through prevention education, caregiver training, and community-based protection initiatives. Once sufficient funding is secured, the project will directly reach 400 vulnerable children with age-appropriate education on personal boundaries, recognizing danger, and reporting abuse. Parents, teachers, and community leaders will also receive training to improve early identification and response to abuse. Funding will support the establishment of safe spaces, referral pathways, educational activities, and community protection structures. Continued fundraising is therefore the immediate priority to enable the project to commence fully and deliver its planned child protection outcomes.
