By Ralph Saccomano | Animal Disaster Response in Ventura County
It took months to evaluate the bids and traveling all over California to compare vehicles. The main reason for this delay in purchasing was to find the most cost-effective vehicle that will suit our needs for the long-term. After an exhausted search, our organization finally received the stock trailer. We are not looking forward to another natural disaster. However, if and when this does occur, we will be prepared to evacuate horses in the most efficient and caring way possible. We are so thankful for this kind funding from your organization. We will provide project updates when we use this vehicle along with photos of staff.
Thank you!
Ralph Saccomano
