This is the story of a kindhearted man and the two little kittens who became a very special part of his life.
The kittens lost their mother while she was giving birth. From that difficult moment, the man took them into his care and decided to raise them as his own. Since their very first days, the tiny kittens depended on him for everything. He fed them, kept them warm, protected them, and gave them all the love they needed.
Slowly, the kittens started growing stronger. They became playful, curious, and very affectionate. Before long, they were not just animals under his care. They became his little family and a constant source of happiness and love.
One day, however, he noticed something was wrong. Both kittens had stopped eating properly. They were not running around or playing like they normally did. They looked weak, tired, and unusually quiet. Their sudden change worried him deeply.
Without wasting any time, he called the Jivdaya Animal Helpline and asked for medical help.
Our Animal Care Wheels team immediately travelled to the location with the treatment van and examined both kittens. During the initial checkup, the team found that both babies had a high fever and were also suffering from dehydration.
Treatment was started immediately. The kittens were given fluid therapy to help with dehydration, along with the necessary medication and supportive care. Their condition was carefully monitored throughout the treatment.
After the first round of fluids and medication, the kittens started showing encouraging signs of improvement. They became more alert and slowly started responding better.
Our work did not stop there. Follow up visits were arranged over the next few days so the team could continue monitoring their health and make sure they were recovering properly.
With timely medical treatment, continuous care, and the loving support of their owner, both kittens finally made a complete recovery.
Soon, they were back to being their old selves, playful, active, curious, and cuddly once again.
Their owner was extremely grateful to our team for helping his little babies recover. But for us, the greatest reward was something much simpler: seeing the two kittens healthy again, playing happily with the person who had loved and cared for them from the very beginning.
Sometimes, the most beautiful rescue stories begin with love, and end with life returning to normal.
