On May 21st, Amnesty International Slovakia and our project Human Books library participated to Restaurant Day in Bratislava.
It was the occasion for everyone to discover this wonderful mind-changing project and to meet and exchange with some of the living books.
Sitting together around a meal or a drink to share experiences and life stories is the best way to make a change on people´s mind, which is actually what this project is trying to achieve.
On this day, the project which is uppermost aimed at young people in high schools was presented to general public, with a different and intimate approach permitted by the Restaurant Day concept.
If you were able to share this moment with them, you surely now appreciate the power of storytelling against prejudice, and wish to support this amazing project even more.
The Human Books participating in this event were mainly related to stories about solidarity, to make this day even more of a sharing moment.
Your donations could help us do more and more small projects such as this one, and would allow us to make our project more famous, so as to raise awareness about prejudice among more people.
We are looking forward to meeting you again next year for Restaurant Day.
