On March 13, Diabetes Advocates from all over Oregon, including our incredible Diabetes Youth Advocates, attended Diabetes Day at the Capitol to discuss important diabetes issues with their legislators.
The day included a discussion about current diabetes issues, training on how to talk with legislators effectively and visits with lawmakers. The goal of Diabetes Day at the Capitol is to let our elected officials know the importance of supporting people with diabetes.
