Heading in to 2020, we here at the American Diabetes Association are gearing up for our next fundraising event. Our first annual Cooking for a Cure gala will be held on February 12th at the Multnomah Athletic Club in Portland, Oregon.
An evening of culinary competition, healthy cuisine and creative inspiration, Cooking for a Cure is a cross between Iron Chef and the British Baking Show with a healthy twist. Three corporate amateur cooking teams will compete to create a healthy, attractively plated meal, which will be judged by a panel of Portland’s top chefs. The winning team will earn the coveted title of the Healthy Culinary Masterpiece of the Year.
There will be 300+ community leaders, corporate partners and supporters of the ADA attending this fun cooking event, enjoying great food and raising funds to support the mission of the American Diabetes Association: to prevent and cure diabetesand improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
There are 1.07 million adults in Oregon living with diabetes. We need the help of people like you to fight this disease. If you are interested in attending Cooking for a Cure, visit us at diabetes.org/nightofmission.
