Narrative Report
We continue with the execution of the project exploring opportunities for practical use of technology that permeate our daily lives, analyzing how things work and how we can appropriate technology in our routines.
In this recent period, we also studied some cases of competition robots, using the examples verified in the Brazilian Robotics Olympiad (OBR), presenting what are the challenges and solutions in a competition arena.
Objectively, we present to the students the importance of knowledge and mastery of the complete cycle. This approach is fundamental for us to show them the need to develop a systemic thought about the various stages, going along the entire path of appending the beginning and end, considering the difficulties, understanding the problems, and studying the application of possible solutions. After this stage, we started the testing period, to prove whether the understanding of the challenges, the research, and preparation of the solution has applicability and practical and positive results. Depending on the evaluation of these results, we return to the beginning of the process and go through the cycle again.
Would you say that your grant project was successful?
Yes, during this period and will continue to be for the next future
Why or why not?
Our learners' broader vision of the processes and challenges we present opens up thinking about how things work in reality and how they are connected. The reflections and effective participation of the apprentices bring us this satisfaction of the demonstration of interest in the processes that surround us and that make this world work.
What is your project's biggest accomplishment?
The biggest accomplishment was to keep the students' interest in its regular school activities and the activities provided by this project, even considering the difficulties involved.
We believe that it is of the utmost importance for our apprentices to have a vision of the whole and how the parties relate and are connected.
What are the lessons learned from this project?
We need to keep the project running properly to provoke other initiatives to contribute complementary educational actions to students with fewer resources. We need to continue working to maintain students' interest in a subject that could contribute to their professional life in the future.

Grant report metrics for proposal project type = education
How many unique students did you support or work with, if applicable?
For the first year, we aim to reach up to 250 students from public schools.
Please highlight the level(s) you worked with?
High school and elementary school students
How many students secured jobs, if applicable?
Not applicable
What successes and key accomplishments has your project achieved that were not captured through previous metrics?
Technology awakens in students a huge desire to understand how things work and their application practices in their lives. This desire is impossible to measure as well as the effect it can have on your community.
