Project Recap
The Alpha EdTech Project aims to train young people in the field of technology, regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, or ethnicity, often in situations of social vulnerability. The initiative seeks to provide access to real opportunities for social mobility through an education aligned with the needs of IT professionals in the job market.
The general goal is to promote social mobility by offering training opportunities to talented youth—particularly those from vulnerable backgrounds—who are interested in the high-demand field of information technology.
Topics Covered in Recent Classes for Project Development
In the Hard Skills lessons, participants explored practices in automated testing, system integration, Python programming, and data analysis — strengthening their autonomy, logical reasoning, and ability to solve real-world problems.
In the Soft Skills sessions, collaborative dynamics and games created an environment of trust and cooperation, fostering the development of essential competencies such as leadership, empathy, and process management.
The thematic lectures, focused on Artificial Intelligence and innovation, sparked curiosity and broadened participants’ understanding of the transformative role of technology. These experiences reinforced the program’s commitment to comprehensive education — one that unites technical knowledge, purpose, and human values.
In October, Cohort 6 concluded its cycle with presentations marked by dedication, resilience, and teamwork. The event was attended by the Alpha EdTech leadership and teaching staff, highlighting both technical and human learning.
That same week, the Dream Club event celebrated the newly admitted students and welcomed Cohort 7, marking the beginning of a new journey that reinforces values such as merit, collaboration, and purpose.
In the last week of October, a Team Building event was held in São Paulo with professionals from CloudWalk, Inc., graduates of Alpha EdTech — a program created by Instituto Alpha Lumen that trains young talent in technology.
Today, nearly 60 Alpha Lumen alumni, trained through Alpha EdTech, have joined the CloudWalk team over the past few years — and this number continues to grow. These professionals learn by transforming challenges into real solutions and are now part of various teams, driving the mission to reinvent the global financial system.
The month reinforced the program’s ongoing commitment to developing young technology talent through well-rounded, purpose-driven education.
