Alpha Edtech is a code academy aiming to accelerate the IT development of highly talented and socially vulnerable people, enabling them to transform their realities and help their communities to thrive. The project looks for relevant representation of females and other minorities. Students have financial compensation allowing them to be fully dedicated to the training, and work in real projects defined by partner companies, as a bridge for their future employment.
Our main goal is to train young people and adults in vulnerable situations as developers, providing access not only to quality education but also to the labor market. This is an initiative that involves people, companies, and institutions through the democratization of knowledge in a large transformation network.
In this first stage, we are finalizing the process of receiving the applications of those interested and taking care of the preparation for the next phase of selecting the young people who will make up the group of developers (aspirants). Until the end of 2022, the process will be sequenced with the steps of announcing those selected and the beginning of the first cycle of training for the participants.
This first cycle refers to the intense work of equalization of previous knowledge, with special attention to the demands of specific needs for the project's sequence.
