To date, the Autism & Law Enforcement Education Coalition has trained over 32,000 First Responders on Autism Spectrum Disorders and the best practices for crisis intervention strategies. With your help, we will continue to host trainings for Fire, Police, EMS and hospital room personnel at no cost to the First Response agencies being trained.
This training has been nationally recognized by First Response agencies as one of the best trainings on Autism Spectrum Disorders because the presenter has not only a personal/family relationship with someone diagnosed with Autism, but is also a First Responder themselves and knows the logistics of the job.
We thank you for your support of this great work, and with your help, we will make our communities safer for both people diagnosed with Autism and our local First Responders!
