Alum`s story
Alum is a total orphan and she is staying in a child headed family where her elder sister who herself is still a childis the one leading the family. They lose their father in 2014 as their mother died first. They are staying in one of the house their father left them in. Alum a only eat at school and the sister is working in one of the hotel at Te Obaya as plate washer. She goes with food remain from the hotel to share with Her younger sister at home. Brenda said they suffer a lot when her elder sister is sick because she will not be going for work and they end up sleeping without eating.
Her appreciation
I would like to thank platform for labour action so much. Now days I use to eat at school and stay at school without being sent a way for fees. Now days I do not sleep famine since I do eat lunch at school. Thank you so much for taking me to school.
Am requesting PLA to take my sister also to school
