Our beneficiaries are proceeding on well with their projects though with various challenges. The year had many challenges and short rains really affected them. It has been dry in most parts of the country and farmers were really affected. It is now raining and farmers are now planting new crops as most of their previous crops were affected by the drought. We have some of our beneficiaries with seeds and planting materials. Although we did not have enough seeds to support them, we hope they will benefit from the on-going rains to enable them harvest enough food for their families and save seeds for the next season to reduce the current challenge. Our beneficiaries are hardworking and determined and they are happy the long waited rain is now available and they have been able to plant their crops. We will consider conducting more trainings to empower our beneficiaries on areas of value addition, seed saving etc. We thank all the well-wishers for their kind support and encourage them to consider supporting our communities further.
