The short rains were really short and most of the crops planted during the period were affected by the dry period that followed. It has been very dry in most parts of the country but our beneficiaries are trying in their own small ways at least to water their kitchen gardens for vegetable production it has been very challenging but due to their nutrition need they have to cope with the challenging situation. At the moment they are preparing their gardens for new planting as we are expecting rains soon and we hope for the best. We are planning to support our beneficiaries with some seeds and planting materials as well as organic fertilizer considering how the situation has been, they need to be boosted to move on. We thank all for the continued support.
