Our beneficiaries are progressing on well and they have been busy working in their farms and others doing some business. Most of them have harvested vegetables and cereals from their kitchen gardens. It has been dry for some time and some of the crops like maize were affected by the continued dryness and since we did not manage to fundraise for rope and washer systems for them, they could not manage to irrigate their kitchen gardens. We are happy we now have some short rains and the situation is improving. The beneficiaries are really optimistic they have started planting more crops in this short rains which is an added advantage. Generally they have been well and their health also has been very good since we have not had any serious case.
