Improve Livelihoods of 225 HIV-affected families

By `Lucy Mathenge | ` Project Assistant

This year we had planned to fundraise for kitchen garden establishment but so far we have not managed to establish any due to limited finance but we are still optimistic and we continue fundraising for this project. This year we have also faced drought challenges and production has been low but our beneficiaries has been watering their vegetables to ensure they are food secure during this dry spell. We had expected long rains in April but this year has been different since we did not receive these long rains but we are optimistic that in May it will rain. We had given our beneficiaries some seeds to plant during the April long rains and some of them planted but others are still waiting for the rains. We hope we will manage to compensate those who lost their seeds previously and that will ensure that our beneficiaries will be safe in terms of seeds.
